Congratulations Sasha and Ken!

Congratulations to Sasha and Ken on the publication of their co-first-author paper, Elucidation of Chemical Species and Reactivity at Methylammonium Lead Iodide and Cesium Tin Bromide Perovskite Surfaces via Orthogonal Reaction Chemistry in the Journal of Physical Chemistry. You can read it here (access required).

Welcome Juan and Emma!

Welcome new group members to Juan Cintron and Emma Travassos!

Juan is visiting WPI as a summer researcher through the department’s NSF-sponsored Research Experience for Undergrads (REU) site. Juan hails from the University of Puerto Rico. This summer Juan will be quantifying the ability of particular benzoic acid derivatives to cap metal organic frameworks.

Learn more about Juan here.

Emma is a rising senior at WPI and was the recipient of an A&S Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF). Emma hails from Plymouth, Massachusetts. She will be figuring out how to attach electron-transfer molecules to metal oxide surfaces and quantifying their bond strengths, coverages, and subsequent reactivity.

Congrats Summer 2018 Researchers!

Congratulations to our undergraduate researchers, who all received summer research fellowships for 2018. We are also grateful to each fellowship opportunity!

Congratulations Clare

Congratulations to Clare Masucci for her successful MQP poster during Poster Presentation Day.  Clare presented on her work over the last year including finishing up the silicon dual-layer photoelectrochemistry studies, and beginning our characterization of BiI3. Next up, graduation!
