Welcome To The Grimmgroup

What makes materials efficient or inefficient at converting sunlight to electrical or chemical energy? How can emerging 2D and 1D nanomaterials adapt to meet or needs for clean energy, clean water, green processes, and responsive materials?

The Grimmgroup does surface science. As a research group in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, we seek an atom-and-bond-level understanding and control of material properties.
