David is currently working on attaching polymers and oligomers to the UiO-66 molecule.

If you think this project sounds interesting and would like to work on a similar MQP, then contact Prof. Grimm to join now!

What brought you to WPI?

Initially, what brought me to WPI was the ability to competitively swim in D3 Athletics whilst pursuing a rigorous but fun STEM degree. Since then, what has kept me at WPI are the personal and professional relationships I’ve forged at the school, as well as the project-based learning approach of WPI.

What are your research interests?

I am very strongly interested in nano-materials, MOFs, and energy, both synthetically and physically.

What will you be doing immediately following your time at WPI?

Not sure yet. I’m happy enough playing that by ear though.

What are your long term professional goals?

After furthering my education, I hope to enter the chemical industry in some capacity.
